America's Heart
America's Heart is a life-changing new Reality Show about teams implementing powerful projects to fight poverty in America. The show inspires ‘ordinary’ people to make an extraordinary difference in their sphere of influence.

Faith-based and secular groups play a vital role in the difficult task of bringing relief to the distressed and impoverished. While the politicians focus on the war against terrorism, the war against poverty slides to the back burner. Therefore, America needs a new approach to fighting poverty, one that has its roots not in ideology or even ideals, but in simple pragmatism.

“If you want to cultivate the desert, you need to develop many oases and connect them.” -Herbert J. Kellner

Poverty should not exist in the wealthiest nation on earth, but unfortunately, it is a harsh reality. By mobilizing millions of people, we can effectively deal with the problem. If we build enough oases and connect them, we can cultivate the desert areas of poverty in the United States of America.

The Search is On
The nationwide search is on for families, individuals and small teams who will be chosen to take part in an exciting new reality show that will be broadcast over the Internet and soon via satellite and cable TV. The purpose of this search is to find individuals and teams who are working on charitable projects that help to fight poverty. We are primarily interested in small projects that make a big difference in the life of disadvantaged people.

The Judges
Our team of three judges will carefully evaluate each submitted project. The projects with the highest scoring will make it into the show where they receive valuable tips on how to bring their projects to the next level.

The Scoring System
The projects will be evaluated based on the following three criteria:

Sustainability
Does the project have a strong support system that keeps it alive and successful over a long period of time without depleting the personal energy and resources of the individual or team members?
Social Impact
How does the project positively affect the individuals, families and community?
Duplicatability
Can other groups easily implement the project in their communities? Can the cookie cutter principle be applied?
Public Scoring
The judges evaluate every project, but it's the viewing public that determines who will receive the gold, silver or bronze award. Voting via telephone and text messaging begins immediately after the projects are introduced, and the results are announced in the following show.
The Sponsor Pool
High scoring projects will be referred to the Sponsor Pool. This pool is comprised of corporate sponsors who will advance the charitable projects if they like them. Individuals or teams will receive financial help or support in the form of goods necessary for the further development of their projects. There is no grand price, because everybody who enters the show will be a winner.
The Celebrity Pool
During the optimization of the projects, celebrities will suddenly show up and help the teams with hands-on activities to push their projects forward.
